Photo Uploading Is Back for Creators!
Hi xHamster creators!
We are so pleased to announce that our much-loved photo uploading feature has returned to our community of stunning and exceptional adult content creators.
Starting immediately, verified content creators will be allowed to upload photos to your galleries. We know that this is a limited rollout at this time, but we are thrilled to be working to bring our best features back to the community.
A few things you need to know about the new photo uploading process:
- As we said, only verified creators can upload photos for now.
- You can’t add photos to a gallery that’s already been created. We won’t change this.
- You can delete photos and edit the metadata and attributes for the images.
- Once you create a new gallery with photos, all of the content will go to moderation for review by our community moderators to ensure compliance.
- If something is wrong with at least one photo in the set, the entire gallery will not be published.
Compliance is important, too. Just like we do for videos and profile pictures, all creators are obliged to provide a model release for all of the participants appearing on a photo.
When you upload a photo or a set of photos, there will be fields to upload model releases. Luckily, if you or a co-performer have a model release already on file under the “multiply” type, then the gallery featuring that co-performer is valid.

We also remind you all to respect the rules of shooting adult content for the United States and wherever else is applicable. All content and documentation related to that content require a shooting date later than the dates on the model releases. This rule applies to both videos, photos, and photosets uploaded to a gallery in moderation.
The xHamster Team cares about your safety and privacy, and we want you all to recognize that given our robust new policies for model verification and release.
Previously, we revamped our entire verification process and we have provided the creator’s community with guides and consumer information to meet verification rules.
